Ahmedabad has definitely become Pat Cummins' favourite hunting ground in India. On Sunday, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain removed Sai Sudharsan - Gujarat's highest scorer - at the crucial juncture to bring the Orange Army back in the game.

Sudharsan held the forte from one end in a tricky chase of 163 runs, scoring 45 off 36 deliveries, missed a well-deserved half-century as Pat Cummins' perfect ploy worked against the GT number 3.

On a back of a good length delivery, on which Cummins rolled his fingers, the GT southpaw tried muscling it out of the park but he missed the pull stroke and handed a sliding grab to Abhishek Sharma at cow-corner.

However, the SRH captain's efforts could not stop the GT express to continue their home dominance as they eventually won by seven wickets with five deliveries still to go.

Earlier in the day, SRH won the toss and tried their hand with the bat. However, against the canny bowling of Mohit Sharma and Shubman Gill’s shrewd captaincy, their powerpacked batting failed to put a decent total on the board.

Answering in the chase, the home team took all precautions and chased down 163 runs, thanks to Sudharsan's 46 and timely efforts from Gill and David Miller.
