In a thrilling encounter at the T20 World Cup 2024, India restricted the USA to a meager 110 runs in their group stage match at the Nassau County Stadium on June 12.

However, the highlight of the match came in the final over, with a spectacular run-out executed by Rishabh Pant and Mohammed Siraj.

USA, invited to bat first by India, struggled to build momentum. The climax came during the last ball of their innings, bowled by Rishabh Pant.

Jasdeep Singh, the USA's tail-ender, swung wildly and missed. Pant, ever-alert behind the stumps, collected the ball on the bounce and quickly threw it back to Siraj.

The batters attempted a quick bye, but Siraj, with precision, aimed at the stumps at the bowler’s end and struck them on the bounce. The USA batter, who had scored just 2 runs, was found well short of his crease as confirmed by the TV umpire.

Earlier in the match, Arshdeep Singh set the tone for India's bowling attack by dismissing Shayan Jahangir for a golden duck on the very first ball.

Arshdeep's impressive spell continued as he secured a four-wicket haul, dismantling the USA's batting lineup and significantly contributing to India's dominant performance.

The match concluded with India comfortably in control, thanks to their disciplined bowling and sharp fielding.
