Rishabh Pant covered a lot of ground before taking one of the sensational catches in the T20 World Cup 2024's history on Wednesday (June 12) when India took on the USA in Match 25 of the ongoing edition in New York.
In the process, Hardik Pandya got his second wicket of the day, as former New Zealand player Corey Anderson was sent packing without damaging the prolific Indian attack much.
Batting on 14 off 12 deliveries, Anderson went down the track to try to attempt a big six against Hardik during the 17th over of the USA's innings. The ball went miles in the air, and came at the short mid-wicket region.
Pant kept his eyes on the ball, and called for it before eventually grabbed it with both hands to end Anderson's stay.

Meanwhile, the USA could only muster 110/8 in their 20 overs, with Arshdeep Singh taking impressive figures of 4/9. Mohammed Siraj and Jasprit Bumrah went wicketless, while Hardik's figures read 4-1-14-2.
At the time of writing this, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are in the middle, while Saurabh Netravalkar has the new ball in hand.
