Delhi Capitals (DC) sensation Abhishek Porel has been spectacular in the 64th match of the IPL 2024 against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Tuesday, May 14. 

The 21-year-old batter scored 58 runs off 33 balls before his stellar knock was ended by LSG pacer Naveen ul Haq. 

He fell victim in the 12th over during DC's innings as they were invited to bat first. Naveen ul Haq, in the mood to get a wicket, struck in his second spell with a ball clocking 107.8 kph. 

It was a slower delivery at the back of a length while pitching outside the leg stump. The left-handed star batter went for the pull from the front foot and didn't get it off the middle of the bat.

The ball went high in the air towards Nicholas Pooran stationed at deep square leg. Porel misjudged the ball and had to move back a few yards to his right. He finally got in a good position to complete the catch. 

At the time of writing, DC were 126 for 3 in 14 overs, with Rishabh Pant and Tristan Stubbs at the crease.
