Punjab Kings (PBKS) are set to square off against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 65th match of the IPL 2024 at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati.

Although PBKS have been eliminated from playoff contention, they aim to salvage pride with a victory against Sanju Samson's RR. Meanwhile, RR is placed second on the points table with 8 wins and 4 losses.

In their previous encounter with RCB, they suffered a 60-run defeat, sealing their exit from IPL 2024. With the upcoming clash scheduled for May 15th, PBKS may need to adjust their playing XI due to Liam Livingstone's departure from the team. Livingstone has chosen to depart India prematurely to address a knee issue ahead of the T20 World Cup.

In his place, South African pacer Kagiso Rabada will step into the team. The remainder of the playing XI is expected to remain unchanged.
