This breakthrough significantly dented KKR's hopes, leaving them struggling at 135 for 9 by the end of their innings.

Earlier, KKR had experienced a turbulent start, losing a wicket off the first ball to Tushar Deshpande. Despite initially showcasing promise in the powerplay, KKR faltered against CSK's spinners, with Ravindra Jadeja claiming vital wickets.
