Rinku Singh's uncharacteristic knock of 15-ball 10 came to an end when he was chopped on by Tushar Deshpande on Saturday (April 8) in Match 22 of IPL 2024 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, where KKR were up against CSK.

Coming at No. 7, Rinku failed to bat at his natural style on a tough Chepauk track before he dragged a slow full delivery into the stumps.

After Ruturaj Gaikwad won the toss and asked KKR to bat first, KKR lost wickets in regular intervals, which did not allow them to get going. While Shreyas Iyer was batting from one end, others failed to stay in the middle before Rinku and the KKR skipper tried to steady the ship.

However, it did not last long either, as Deshpande did the job for CSK, bringing more trouble to KKR.

At the time of writing this, KKR are struggling badly in Chennai, scoring 120/6 in 17.5 overs, with Andre Russell batting on 6* off 8 balls. Shreyas Iyer, from the other end, is on 27* off 28 balls.

It is important to mention that KKR are still unbeaten in IPL 2024. Hence, a defeat in Chennai would lead them to end the 100% winning record.
