If there's one person who changed the course of the game tonight, it was no other than, Sir Jadeja who has been handed the player of the match for picking three wickets for 18 runs in his four overs. And not to forget, his two catches. Also, this is his 15th IPL Player of the Match award and he equals MS Dhoni on the list.

KKR lost one very early in their innings that too on the very first delivery with Phil Salt back. Sunil Narine and Angkrish Raghuvanshi tried their hand at resurrecting the innings but both fell soon to Ravindra Jadeja who troubled KKR batters much. Later, everything fell apart for KKR as they lost wickets after wickets as runs were extremely hard to comeby. CSK bowlers bowled perfect length and did not give much pace to the batters as they ended their innings on 137 for the loss of nine wickets.

In the second innings, it was nothing more than a formality for CSK who started decently until Rachin Ravindra threw his wicket. After that skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad and Daryl Mitchell continued building pressure on the opposition with regular boundaries. Shivam Dube took his chances and fell but not before taking CSK closer to victory. In the end, Gaikwad steered CSK to their third win this season with seven wickets and 14 balls to spare.
