The ongoing match between Sri Lanka and New Zealand witnessed the master class of Rachin Ravindra as he slammed his consecutive half-century against the visitors with a brilliant maximum. The 25-year-old youngster plays for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League, and his selection of shots throughout the match embodied the legendary wicket-keeper batter, MS Dhoni.

Rachin reached this milestone in 43 balls, although he departed before making a well-deserved ton; he slammed nine boundaries and one maximum. His six off the fearful Wanindu Hasranga had guts and class written all over it.

In the 17th over, Hasranga bowled a length delivery pitching around the off stump. Ravindra read the length very well and skipped down to the pitch of the ball. He swung hard and cleared 86m over the long boundary, leaving spectators in awe.
