India vs Pakistan cricket rivalry arguably ranks amongst one of the most hyped and intense sports rivalries across the globe. The matches between the two nations with extended history and severed political ties are often filled with deep emotions, thrill, and, ultimately, fans' love for the divine sport.

It goes without saying sports rivalries bring out the best in players, and often, in the heat of the moment, some tend to lose control and temperament. India vs Pakistan cricket games have witnessed several instances of heated clashes, some far more ugly than others.

One such incident was again displayed during the recent Under-19 Asia Cup game between India and Pakistan.

During the 12th over of the first inning, Pakistani pacer Mohammad Zeeshan bowled a peach of a delivery to procure an edge from Indian middle order batter Rudra Patel. The wicket-keeper and captain Saad Baig grabbed a regulation catch to end Rudra's short 11-ball stay on the crease.

Pakistan felt alive in the game after Patel's wicket, and Zeeshan, the man who made a bunny out of the Indian batter, was absolutely pumped. However, the pacer went a little overboard with his celebrations.

Mohammad Zeeshan jumped on the face of Rudra Patel and initiated a "punching" celebration. Having said that, a dejected Rudra chose not to engage and walked back without uttering a word to Zeeshan.

Ultimately, Pakistan emerged victorious in a close contest. Chasing a target of 263, the men in green lost a mere two wickets and crossed the finish line with three overs to spare.

With that game, India slipped to second position in Group A, whereas Pakistan went on to lead the table with two wins in two games.

Regardless, the Indian side still has one game left on the schedule to secure a semi-final berth.
