Emotions run through every player’s veins when they take part in the IPL, the grandest T20I league worldwide. Hence, sometimes heated moments between teammates happen on the cricket field, and there is nothing wrong with it.

Similarly, Mohammed Siraj, known for being one of the most aggressive players in Indian cricket at present, could not control himself after watching Anuj Rawat, who has been taking over wicket-keeping duties from Dinesh Karthik in the IPL 2024 opener.

Given the fact that Dinesh Karthik won’t play from the next season onwards, RCB gave Rawat the big gloves keeping the long-term plans in mind. While keeping during the 16th over of Punjab’s innings, Siraj bowled a slower bouncer to Sam Curran, who failed to make any connection with his bat.

The ball landed just short of Rawat and it deflected away after hitting his pad. Siraj was not pleased at all, and gave him an abusive lecture, while saying pakdo yaar (take it, man!).

A few moments later, Siraj's attention turned to Sam Curran after bowling a dot delivery to finish things off, as he sledged him with a smile on his face.

Meanwhile, Rawat did not react to it, and admitted his mistake. Two balls later, Siraj felt it was too rude from his side, and thus, gave a thumbs up to the young wicket-keeper after he grabbed the ball nicely.

Notably, Rawat took an outrageous catch later on, leaving RCB fans in awe.
