Mohammad Rizwan, who recently gained attention for his "sometimes cramp, sometimes acting" remark, made a noble effort on Monday during Pakistan's World Cup match against Afghanistan.

In fact, the work that he did on the field reminded fans of MS Dhoni, who did the exact same thing in 2015 when India and South Africa went up against each other in an ODI fixture.

Back then, Dhoni helped Faf du Plessis, his the-then Chennai Super Kings (CSK) teammate, as a volunteer to help the South African, who was suffering from cramps. Rizwan did the same when Ibrahim Zadran was in pain for the same reason under challenging circumstances in Chepauk.

While playing a brilliant knock against the Men in Green, Zadran was down in pain several times, just beside the pitch. Rizwan was quick to assist Zadran in getting better before the physiotherapist even arrived, bringing the spirit of the game back to talk of the town.
