Virat Kohli seems to be relishing the precious two-day break provided to Indian cricketers by coach Rahul Dravid-led team management following the tournament hosts' magnificent victory over New Zealand at the ICC World Cup 2023 in Dharamshala.

The Indian legend is enjoying a rare breather provided to him and the rest of the cricketers part of Rohit Sharma's team in the scenic hills of Himachal Pradesh. Kohli has been travelling around the beautiful mountains and finding time out to relax before resuming playing duties a week later with the next match against England on October 29 in Lucknow.

For the initial two days of the seven-day break between the World Cup campaign, Indian cricketers have been given time out to enjoy the calming scenes of Dharamshala with their families - a much-needed exercise after undergoing the high-pressure job of playing five consecutive World Cup league matches.

As India sit pretty on top of the points table with a string of wins under their belt, Dravid and Rohit have rewarded the players by allowing them two days of holiday from training duties before the team rejoins in Lucknow for the league game versus the defending champions.

Kohli Poses With Fans In Dharamshala

For Kohli, it is an opportunity to rest and recharge his batteries after producing a wonderful run with the bat as the numero uno runs-getter in the Indian jersey. The 34-year-old was seen posing with his passionate fans for pictures and selfies in Dharamshala on Monday (October 23), having guided India to a memorable victory against the BlackCaps.

Kohli may have carried the image of a brash and aggressive cricketer on the park but is equally a gentleman by heart outside the playing field and has been generous with his fans and cricket lovers whenever they've requested him for an interaction.

The great batter is never short of time for his fans despite carrying the humongous weight of expectations and undergoing a strenuous schedule as world cricket's leading brand.

Kohli has been reigning supreme at the ongoing World Cup with 354 runs made in five innings at a stupendous average of 118 while carrying a strike-rate of 90.53.
