Running out at non-strikers’ ends while bowling, infamously known as mankading, often happens even at the highest level of the game. However, bowlers tend to give warning to batters before making that attempt, and the same thing happened during Afghanistan’s World Cup game against Pakistan in Chennai.

Moreover, Mohammad Nabi, Afghanistan's beloved professor, did it, and Pakistan's current captain as well as one of the all-time greats Babar Azam received the warning.

The incident happened when Nabi was about to begin the 16th over of Pakistan's innings after they oped to bat. The 38-year-old felt Babar left early from the crease at non-strikers' end, and thus, before releasing the delivery, he told the Pakistani skipper not to do that again.

However, Babar was seen not too pleased with the gesture. He constantly told Nabi that he was inside the crease before the ball was about to be released. Yet, Nabi did not agree with the fact, and slowly started to begin his run-up again.
