Pakistan faced a tough challenge against England in the third Test at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, with the hosts struggling to keep up. Shan Masood and Saud Shakeel resumed Day 2 with Pakistan at 73 for 3, after having limited England to 267 runs in their first innings. Masood, however, was dismissed after adding only 10 more runs to his overnight score, departing with 26 runs.

As Pakistan aimed to recover, Kamran Ghulam quickly followed Masood back to the pavilion. Hopes were high for Mohammad Rizwan, expected to bring stability, but things took a turn.

Rizwan, after scoring a steady 25 runs off 46 balls, fell prey to Rehan Ahmed’s third ball in the 50th over. Rizwan attempted a sweep shot but was trapped leg-before-wicket. He reviewed the decision, but Ultra Edge and ball-tracking showed three reds, confirming his dismissal. With Rizwan gone, Pakistan was left at 151 for 5, as England celebrated Rehan Ahmed’s first wicket of the match.
