[Watch] Mitchell Starc Cleans Up Ben Stokes With An Absolute Cracker Of A Delivery

The Ashes 2023 has reached its finale and Australia are putting themselves in a strong position by taking regular wickets with the ball on the first day at the historic Kennington Oval. England were put to bat by Australia after winning the toss and the home team went about their business in an usual positive way.

Brook and Moeen Ali batted beautifully and put together a 111-run stand for the fourth wicket before Murphy cleaned him up. However, it was Starc's delivery to Stokes that has grabbed eyeballs.

It was the 39th over of the game and Stokes was batting on 3 off 16 balls, looking to get his eye in. However, Starc produced an absolute ripper of a delivery, a dream delivery. He bowled a good-length delivery, anging into off and Stokes tried to work it towards the leg side. However, the ball seamed away sharply after pitching and knocked over the off pole.

The delivery created shockwaves in the capacity crowd at the Oval and brought a stunned look on English skipper's face. Australia got two more wickets after that and at the time of writing, they are in a spot of bother at 225-7 at the end of 46 overs.
