The white-ball leg of India's tour of West Indies starts today, as both teams will meet each other in a three-ODI series, which will then be followed by a five-T20I series starting August 3. As Test players return to India, the members, who are part of the T20I series have departed for the Caribbean.

Spinner Ravi Bishnoi and pacer Avesh Khan have left for the West Indies, and will soon meet up with the Indian team. Other T20I players like Tilak Varma and Arshdeep Singh will join Team India in coming days.

Both Bishnoi and Khan are making a comeback into Team India after having a brilliant season with Lucknow Super Giants in the recently concluded Indian Premier League 2023, claiming 16 and eight wickets, respectively. 

India's T20I squad composition

India's T20I side boasts of younger talent, captained by Hardik Pandya, and will witness players such as Yashasvi Jaiswal, Varma, Bishnoi, Umran Malik, Ishan Kishan, Khan, and Mukesh Kumar.

Players like Shubman Gill, Suryakumar Yadav, Sanju Samson, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Kuldeep Yadav will provide much-needed experience to a relatively-new side. 

The first three T20Is will be played in West Indies, while the final two encounters will take place in Florida in the United States.
