Pakistan's Mir Hamza has stepped up and delivered at a crucial juncture in the game. His perfect line and length proved too hot to handle for Zakir Hasan in the ongoing second Test between Pakistan and Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Zakir Hasan's quickfire knock ended as he departed after scoring just 40 runs off 39 balls.

In a surprising turn of events, in the 13th over, Hamza delivered a good-length ball around the off-stump. Zakir, anticipating the ball to come in, found himself playing the wrong line. The ball pitched, straightened, and hit the top of the off-stump.

With this, Mir Hamza's wicket proved to be the turning point for the Men in Green, setting the tone for the rest of the match. His pumped-up celebration with his team underscores the significance of this moment in the game.

Bangladesh Set Sight On A Historic Series Win

Bangladesh stunned Shan Masood and Co in the first Test, by securing a Test victory against them for the first-time ever. Currently, they are 118 runs away from achieving a historic feat.

Talking about the second Test, Bangladesh won the toss and asked Pakistan to bat first. In the first innings, Pakistan were skittled for 274 runs after the first day’s play was thoroughly washed out, as Mehidy Hasan Miraz starred with 5/61.

Later, Bangladesh found itself in a precarious situation, with the score reading 26/6 at a stage. However, Litton Das turned the knight in shining armour as he rescued his side with his 138 runs. It was Khurram Shahzad who picked up 6/90 to secure a 12-run lead for Pakistan.

Batting in the dying moments of day 3, Pak lost their first 2 wickets before the close of play and were bundled against the pace trio for 172. Bangladesh, in pursuit of 185, added  70 runs to the board on the final day of the Test.
