In the ongoing  T20 World Cup game between SA and SL, Nuwan Thushara provided the first breakthrough by dismissing Rezza Hendricks for just four runs.

The second over saw the MI star bowl a 133.8 kmph swinger on good length. Hendricks poked at it right away from his body without any footwork. However, he ended up getting an outside edge and Kamindy stationed comfortably at the first slip made a good catch. With this, the easy chase was halted.

During the first innings, the South-African bowlers unleashed hell on Sri Lanka's batting line-up. Anrich Nortje, Keshav Maharaj, Kagiso Rabada did not spare them at all with their back to back fiery deliveries, thereby restricting them for just 77 runs.

However, shifting the focus to SA's innings, they've already lost two wickets at the time of writing with the most recent one being that of skipper Aiden Markram. SA is at 24/2 with Quinton de Kock and Tristan Stubbs holding the reins in the middle.
