Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) star Glenn Maxwell's poor run of form in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 is not looking to end. The Big Show is yet to deliver with the bat, causing trouble to RCB's campaign in the IPL 2024.

In the ongoing IPL 2024 clash, Maxwell bagged third duck of the season as Mumbai Indians' (MI) Shreyas Gopal nailed a beautiful wrong'un, which the RCB batter failed to pick the variation to get it plumb in front. 

Gopal dished a perfect googly on a fuller length around the off-stump, Maxwell picked the line incorrectly as he tried flicking it but missed on the pads.

As the game began, RCB lost in-form Virat Kohli in the powerplay before Will Jacks lost his way in his maiden IPL fixture. Soon, Maxwell followed Kohli and Jacks to the dugout, but Faf du Plessis and Rajat Patidar formed a cultivating partnership for the team in the middle overs. 

Du Plessis (61) and Patidar (50) shared an 82-run partnership as the duo notched their first fifties of the season.

Meanwhile, the RCB finisher Dinesh Karthik played a knock for the ages in the fag-end, scoring a 23-ball 53 and taking Bengaluru's total to 196-8.

For MI, Jasprit Bumrah was a beast with the ball, snapping 5/21 in a game in which the other bowlers were tonked for fun by RCB batters.
