Lungi Ngidi has battled injuries throughout his career but over the years, he has produced performances that has made him one of the crucial assets for South Africa. In the second Test against India at Cape Town, he has once again showed his value as he picked up three wickets in a single over to trigger a dramatic Indian collapse.

India were 153-4 at one point in time, but Ngidi removed KL Rahul first and then took the wickets of Ravindra Jadeja and Jasprit Bumrah in the same over to send shockwaves across the Indian camp. India could not even score a single run after that as they were cleaned up for 153 as they lost six wickets with not a single run scored.

One of those wickets was the important one of Ravindra Jadeja. It was a short delivery, angling into the body of Jadeja from 'round the wicket and Jadeja had no clue how to play it. He tried to defend it but he got the leading edge and the ball looped up in the air ahead of the gully fielder where Marco Jansen dived forward and took a brilliant catch.

India ended their first innings with the lead of 98 runs and it will be interesting to see how the Test match shapes up from hereon.
