Liam Livingstone's day turned bad to worse when Birmingham Phoenix were up against London Spirit at the Lord's.

The star English all-rounder, who made a horrible mistake on the field earlier, could only manage 4 off 3 balls before he fell in a most unfortunate way, courtesy of Olly Stone's magic fingers.

Dan Mousley, who took a magnificent catch earlier, played a beautiful straight drive against Stone. However, Livingstone left the crease early from the non-striker's end, and when the ball was going towards the bowler, Stone managed to touch it somehow with his fingers.

Livingstone did not even wait for it, as he knew he was gone as soon as the ball broke the stumps.

At the time of writing this, Birmingham are 47/4 after 39 deliveries. They need 81 more runs off the last 61 balls, with Benny Howell and James Fuller still to come. Dan Mousley and Jacob Bethell are in the middle, batting on 26* and 10* respectively.

Needless to say, both Mousley and Bethell hold the key if Birmingham want to win this one.
