Zimbabwe skipper Sikandar Raza had a memorable outing with the ball in his side's third T20I against India at Harare Sports Club. The wily finger spinner got rid of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Abhishek Sharma before a dropped catch by Tendai Chatara prevented him from getting the prized scalp of Ruturaj Gaikwad.

The incident occurred during the 17th over of India's innings when Gaikwad was powering the visitors to a formidable total alongside Shubman Gill

After the stand-in skipper hammered Raza for a six, Gaikwad punished the off spinner with another maximum on the fourth ball.

After being smashed for a six straight down the ground, Raza dropped it short slightly outside the off stump, luring Gaikwad for a cut shot.

The CSK skipper nailed the square cut, but ended up hitting it straight to backward point where Tendai Chatara dropped a sharp chance to give Gaikwad a lifeline.

However, Blessing Muzarabani broke the third wicket stand, dismissing Gill in the following over. After the skipper got out, Sanju Samson joined Gaikwad in the middle.

As of writing, India were 171 for three in 19 overs, with Samson and Gaikwad batting on 46* and 7*, respectively.
