In the 10th match of the T20 World Cup 2024, Australia are facing Oman. The match is taking place at the Kensington Oval in Bridgetown, Barbados. This game marks the start of the campaign of Australia in the tournament. 

The Oman skipper, Aqib Ilyas Sulehri won the toss and invited Australia to bat first. The Oman bowlers repaid the fait shown by their skipper as they picked up three quick wickets. Australia were reeling at 50 for three in the ninth over of the match when Marcus Stoinis joined David Warner in the middle. 


Warner and Stoinis stitched a partnership of 102 runs off 64 deliveries. This partnership got the Australian innings back on track and they were able to post 164 runs on the board at the end of the 20 overs, which looks like a respectable total given the nature of the wicket. 

Both Marcus Stoinis and David Warner went past their half-centuries and played a crucial role in scripting the Australian comeback. 

Kaleemullah gives a rude send off to David Warner


Kaleemullah was given the 19th over by Sulehri. On the fifth delivery of the over he hit the short length and it was a slower one around the off stump line. Warner stayed on his back foot and trie to clear the long-off fence with a slash. However, he did not get the proper connection and was caught in the deep. 

The bowler got too excited to pick up the wicket of the legend and gave Warner a send off that did not look polite on camera.
