The Saturday evening belonged to Royal Challengers Bengaluru's (RCB) Virat Kohli in Jaipur, as the legendary batter smashed his 8th IPL century against Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.

As Kohli tonked the RR bowlers for fun, he had a couple of intense moment with his former RCB bowler, Yuzvendra Chahal; as he smashed the wily leg-spinner for two maximums out of his four of the night.

One of the sixers came when Kohli was in his 90s, where he gave Chahal a long stare and motivated himself with a cussword, before the bowler smiled off embarrassment.

Against the Royals, Kohli broke multiple records, apart from smashing his record-breaking IPL century. He become the first batter in the history of the league to slam 7,500 runs, and also surpassed David Warner in terms of T20 runs.

Kohli slammed 113 runs off 72 deliveries, including 12 boundaries and four sixers. Thanks to his efforts, the Royal Challengers got to a respectable score of 183/3.

However, Rajasthan's Sanju Samson and Jos Buttler are going at a berserk rate in the chase. At the time of publishing, the scoreboard is reading 77/1 after 8 overs - with RR needing 107 runs in 72 balls to win against RCB.
