KL Rahul kept his excellent form going on Sunday (September 24) in the second ODI between India and Australia at Holkar Cricket Stadium in Indore. Captaining the Men in Blue, the stylish wicketkeeper batsman scored his 15th half-century in the 50-over format, that too with sheer elegance after coming to bat at 5.

Among many impressive strokes, the one Rahul hit against Josh Hazlewood caught everyone’s attention. The middle-order batsman made some room after watching a shortish delivery coming to him before carving it over short third for four runs.

After watching Rahul masterfully play a delightful stroke, Hazlewood had a wry smile on his face. The ace Australian pacer, one of the best bowlers in the world, appeared helpless in the face of the talismanic Indian batsman.



However, Rahul did not last long after reaching his half-century.  After hitting three sixes and as many fours, he lost his wicket to Cameron Green, having scored 52 off 38 balls.

At the time of writing, India are batting on 362/5 in 46.1 overs, with Suryakumar Yadav going strong on 49* off 23 balls. Ravindra Jadeja, on the other hand, has just come to the crease as the Men in Blue are approaching a massive total on a batting paradise.
