The final of the Asian Games 2023 will be played between India Women and Sri Lanka Women on Monday, September 25, in Hangzhou.

India Women 

India Women defeated Bangladesh Women by eight wickets in the first semi-final match to secure a spot in the tournament final. They bowled out Bangladesh for just 51 runs, with Pooja Vastrakar causing havoc by taking a four-wicket haul. In addition to her, Devika Vaidya, Titas Sandhu, Amanjot Kaur, and Rajeshwari Gayakwad each picked up one wicket. 

India Women, in their comeback, successfully chased down the target in 8.2 overs, with Jemimah Rodriguez and Shafali Verma contributing 20 and 17 runs, respectively. A significant boost for Team India in this match is the return of their regular captain, who was sidelined by an ICC ban for the first couple of games. 

Sri Lanka Women 

On the other hand, Sri Lanka Women outclassed Pakistan Women in the second semi-final, securing a place in the final with a six-wicket win. They bowled first, restricting Pakistan Women to 75 runs in 20 overs. In reply, Sri Lanka Women chased down the target in just 16.3 overs. 

However, it is not going to be an easy task for Sri Lanka Women to go up against the strong Indian team. They will have to bring their A-game to have a fighting chance. All in all, we can anticipate an exciting 20-over encounter this Monday in Hangzhou.
