In the recently concluded IPL 2025 match between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium, the visitors registered a eight wicket win, where KL Rahul and Abhishek Porel rose to the occasion and played a fifty-plus knock. 

Talking about KL Rahul, it was a special night for him as the DC star was playing against his former side and also scored the winning runs by hitting a six. Meanwhile, KL Rahul also hogged the internet for his post-match antics as he ignored LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka.

KL Rahul Ignores Sanjiv Goenka

Notably, after scoring the winning runs, KL Rahul was heading towards the dugout when he shook hands with Goenka and while the LSG owner looked interested in having a little chat with the former LSG captain, Rahul continued walking ahead and left Goenka stranded on the pitch. Watch the incident. 

What Is The Context?

For those not aware of the context between the two individuals, Rahul was LSG's first pick but the two had a fall-out when SRH humiliated LSG at their home ground which is when Goenka publicly scolded KL Rahul. 

It led to a rift between the two and as a result, KL Rahul decided to leave the franchise and enter the IPL 2025 mega-auction, where DC bought him.
