Kieron Pollard is known for his power-hitting and is a legend of T20 cricket. However, his greatness is not limited to only his batting, but it is his knack of providing crucial breakthroughs with the ball that has made him a genuine match-winner in the format.

In the 12th match of CPL 2024, he once again brought up his A-game with the ball and while bowling a crucial 18th over for his side, got the big wicket of well-set Bhanuka Rajapaksa. It was a fourth delivery of the over and Pollard bowled it full and on off. However, he took the pace off and the Lankan was early in his shot. 

The ball went high in the air towards long on and Jayden Seales in the deep took the catch comfortably. It was followed by finger on lips celebration by Kieron Pollard as he stamped his authority in the game once again with great finesse and swag.

Chase Delivers With Fighting Fifty

Roston Chase though batted brilliantly for Saint Lucia Kings and scored a valiant fifty to take the home team over 180 against a strong TKR unit. This is Chase's first fifty this season and it was a well-crafted knock with great mixture of caution and aggression. 

Earlier, Charles and Faf du Plessis gave SLK a flying start before Narine pegged things back with two wickets. Rajapaksa then joined hands with Chase and scored 33 off 29 balls and that partnership has boosted SLK's total here at Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium.
