Josh Inglis is one of the most fearsome batters in Australian cricket and has caught the imagination of the cricketing world. However, in a crucial BBL game on 16th of January between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers, he displayed his brilliant catching skills as well, that left everyone at the Optus Stadium in Perth stunned.

It was the first delivery of the 19th over and Sydney Sixers needed 21 to win off 12 balls with seven wickets in hand. So, Scorchers needed a wicket desperately with Jason Behrendorff back into the attack.

The left-handed bowler bowled it on a length and angling into leg and Jordan Silk tried to flick it away. However, he got a big top edge that went high in the air behind the keeper Josh Inglis. It looked like it would run away towards the boundary line but Inglis sprinted all the way almost towards the boundary line and dived full length behind him.

He managed to grab it with both the hands and it enabled Scorchers to make a get back into the game which they eventually lost on the final ball of the game.

Perth Scorchers will now host Adelaide Strikers in a knockout clash while Sydney Sixers with a win in this game will take on Brisbane Heat.
