Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who came in Rajasthan Royals' playing XI on Wednesday (May 15) in Match 65 of IPL 2024 against Punjab Kings, struggled badly in Guwahati's Barsapara Cricket Stadium. The English opener, who has been known for being an explosive one in T20s, lasted 23 balls, and all he could muster were 18 runs before Rahul Chahar ended his painful stay.

The 29-year-old was Rajasthan's replacement for Jos Buttler, who returned England due to international commitments ahead of the much-awaited T20 World Cup. He smashed two fours and a six, but played too many dots to make his knock look miserable.

Coming to bowl the eighth over of the innings, Rahul Chahar bowled a quicker delivery at TKC's arc. The Englishman went for a big shot, trying to loft it over long-on. However, the timing was not there, and Jitesh Sharma used reverse cup technique to take the catch perfectly near the boundary line.
