Sanju Samson has been in great form in IPL 2024 and crossed the 500-run mark for the first time in IPL 2024. However, in the 65th match of IPL 2024 between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings, Sanju struggled to get going, and departed on 18 off 15 deliveries.

The RR skipper came out to bat at number 3 with Yashasvi losing his wicket on the fourth delivery of the match. Sanju started decently, but as the innings progressed he failed to find gaps and that created frustration with Tom-Kohler Cadmore also struggling at the other end.

Finally, in the 7th over when RR needed a move on, Sanju Samson tried to make something out of the short delivery outside off. The ball was a slower one though and that made Samson try even harder and he ended up playing a hopping cut shot that went straight to backward point.
