CSK Fans Are Dhoni Fans First - Rayudu Reveals Jadeja's Frustration Due To Mad Support For Thala

Ambati Rayudu was part of legendary CSK teams that won the title in the 2018, 2021 and 2023 season. He retired after the last season, but was the member of the core group of CSK, and is one of the most reputed players to don CSK's Yellove. 

The right-handed batter has time and again mentioned that CSK's team environment has been the best he has played so far. However, the right-hander has now revealed on Star Sports that he and Jadeja felt a bit frustrated in the last few years due to the crowd's somewhat biased love for MS Dhoni.

Rayudu stated that CSK fans are MS Dhoni fans first and CSK fans later as their main priority is cheering for MSD and even though other players hit a six or a four, the crowd is silent.

"Even when you hit a six and a four the crowd is silent, me and Jadeja felt that in the last few years. I really believe when I say this, that CSK fans are MS Dhoni fans first, and CSK fans later. Even Jadeja gets frustrated, but he cannot do anything."

MS Dhoni is currently playing IPL 2024 which is most likely his final season, as he also gave away his captaincy before the start of this edition, and till he retires, the other players, no matter how much they have contributed, are likely to feel a bit ignored when MS Dhoni is around.
