Jasprit Bumrah is arguably the best bowler in world cricket currently, and has the ability to deliver in varied conditions in different formats. He is leading India in the opening Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, and in the first innings he picked up a memorable fightback to stage India's stunning comeback. Now, he has started the second innings with a bang as well, picking two wickets and one of them was of Marnus Labuschagne who was removed on the final ball of the day.
It was the second delivery of the fifth over, and the ball pitched on a good length, around off. Marnus Labuschagne left the ball in a hope that it will go back to the keeper without coming in, but the ball nipped back in sharply and hit his pad.
A big appeal followed from Bumrah and other Indian players and the the umpire raised the finger in flash.
Australia in Deep Trouble
The Aussie batter took the DRS more inn hope than anything else, and the original decision stayed as the Ball Tracking showed three reds. It has reduced Australia to 12-3 at the end of day three and Australia still need 522 to win which looks like an impossible target at the moment.
Earlier on Day 3, Yashasvi Jaiswal continued his superb batting antics and scored 161 while Virat Kohli also roared back in form with a brilliant century. India declared for 487-6 and it has turned out to be a masterstroke with Australia losing three wickets in anxious fag end of the day.
