Jason Holder and Joshua Da Silva are reviving the West Indies first innings after the middle-order lost the plot in second session on Day 1 of the Edgbaston Test match against England on Friday. Holder has been the aggressor in the sixth wicket partnership, and he showed swag-like Viv Richards when he took down Shoaib Bashir, which even left Ben Stokes in awe of him.

In the 50th over, Holder showcased his reach against the off-spinner as he hoicked a maximum down the ground, over the bowler's head when he was dished with a half-volley outside the off-stump.

At one stage, the Windies were going strongly with the scoreboard reading 76/0. But suddenly, the batters lost the plot as the visitors lost five wickets inside 39 runs, which paired up Jason and Da Silva in the middle.

The duo took a cautious road at first, but they started taking down the bowlers as they got their eyes set. At the end of the second session on Day 1, Holder and Da Silva have shared an unbeaten stand of 79 runs, with West Indies' score reading 194-5 after 53 overs.
