Mark Wood means business, and it proves time and time again whenever he is in action. A similar day in the office he had on Friday when England were up against the West Indies to play their third and final Test of the series at Edgbaston, Birmingham.
It was the third ball of the 25th over of the West Indies' innings, when Wood bowled to Kirk McKenzie, who smashed three fours already within eight balls. However, Wood, who made headlines earlier as well with his sheer face, then came up with a delivery which left the West Indian in shock.

A 146 kph delivery, which swung in sharply, cut the middle stump in half. McKenzie had no clue whatsoever while playing it, as the ball swung so late that left everyone in the stadium in absolute awe.
At the time of writing this, West Indies have reached 97/3 at lunch on Day 1. Having lost the series already, they opted to bat first in a match which does not add much value. However, a win over England could finish things off in style, as they look to post a strong total on the board.
