Quinton de Kock's cameo of 12 runs off 8 balls came to an end on Tuesday in match No.64 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium. 

Ishant Sharma claimed the wickets of both openers, and he began the night by dismissing KL Rahul. 

In the second over, after de Kock conceded a couple of boundaries, Ishant Sharma struck back to remove the South African international on the fifth ball of the same over. The fast bowler dismissed de Kock with a full-length ball around the off-stump line leading him to attempt a shot over mid-on, but his mistimed swing caused the bat to rotate in his hands.

The ball ended up in the safe hands of Mukesh Kumar, who back-pedalled and took the catch at the edge of the 30-yard circle.
