The Punjab Kings have showcased some solid cricket this season, achieving the highest run-chase in IPL history. However, their batting lineup has been inconsistent, with the top order frequently failing to deliver. 

The condition of Shikhar Dhawan's fitness remains uncertain, and Jonny Bairstow and Rilee Rossouw have only managed a few contributions in the IPL.

Looking at the contribution of Prabhsimran Singh he has struggled to capitalize on his starts, and Jitesh Sharma's performances have been disappointing. Shashank Singh and Ashutosh Sharma have been the bright spots, but their failure to perform could result in below-par scores for the team.

In the bowling department, the team showed promise in the last few matches, with Rahul Chahar returning to form. Despite having quality bowlers such as Rabada, Arshdeep Singh, Harshal Patel, and Sam Curran, the team has struggled to deliver consistent performances.
