Josh Hazlewood is bowling on a different level at the moment. The Aussie pace bowler looked at his imperial best against Namibia in the ongoing T20 World Cup 2024 clash.

Opting to bowl first on a tricky surface, Hazlewood started the wicket carnage, as Nikolaas Davin was dismissed for 2 off 7 deliveries. He miscued his attempted slog and found Glenn Maxwell at backward point.

One brought the downfall of another as Pat Cummins sent back Jan Frylinck to pile on more misery for the Namibian team. However, the icing on the cake was once again provided by Hazlewood, who knocked over Micheal Van Lingen to push Namibia on the back-foot inside the power-play.

Hazlewood weaves his magic

He bowled a shorter length ball outside the off and Lingen played it straight to Maxwell, who was situated at backward point. Hazlewood was delighted as his hard-work had paid off.

Earlier in the game, rain god threatened to ruin the contest, but it went away quickly as the Australia-Namibia game started on time.

A win here for the Australians will seal their place in the Super-8. For Namibia, another loss and they might be on the verge of elimination.
