AUS-NAM T20 World Cup Game To Be Abandoned? Here's The Reason?

Seems like rain god has decided to ruin today's T20 World Cup matches. First, it arrived in the Sri Lanka Vs Nepal game, and then it followed the Australian camp to ruin their match against the Namibian team at the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium, Antigua.

Australia won the toss and opted to field first, as they aim to seal their Super-8 spot. However, their plans were ruined when light rain arrived and it forced the players to walk off the field for a while.

Lukcily, the rain went away quickly, but the precition doesn't sound too good for the day. There are still chances of rain and it threatens to spoil the crucial Australia Vs Namibia contest.

Interestingly, Australia have dropped Mitchell Starc from the playing XI due to an injury. Nathan Ellis has replaced him, as the Aussies look to make hat-trick of victories.

The match is of utmost importance for Namibia. They started the tournament with a win over Oman in Super Over, but were brought down to Earth by Scotland, who defeated them in a key battle.

If rain abandons the match, both the teams will get a point each, and Australia will get one step closer to the qualification.
