[Watch] Haris Rauf's Killer Yorker Cleans Up Maheesh Theekshana

Haris Rauf is one of the most dangerous bowlers in world cricket currently and his skills and pace sets him apart from the rest of the lot. Also, his wicket-taking abilities are crucial for Pakistan and he is their gun-death bowler. Now, in the World Cup 2023 game against Sri Lanka, Haris Rauf has again showed his death-bowling credentials and delivered some crucial economical overs along with two wickets in the last over.

One of those wickets was of Maheesh Theekshana and it was courtesy of a perfect yorker from Rauf. It was a pacy delivery, in late 140s, right in the blockhole on the off stump line. Theekshana made room and tried to get a bat on it but the pace and class of Rauf was too hot to handle for him and the off stump was sent for a long memorable ride.

Sri Lanka despite losing their way a bit at the backend still managed to put 344 on the board courtesy of twin centuries by Kusal Mendis and Samarawickrama. Mendis especially was belligerent and smashed 122 off just 77 balls while Samarawickrama too, scored 108 off 89 balls. Pakistan have an uphill task in front of them and need their top order to go big, if they want to chase this target.
