Ace Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya hasn't had a great time in the IPL 2024. Since being appointed as Mumbai Indians' captain, Pandya has faced massive scrutiny not only for his on-field performance but also some questionable tactics. 

More importantly, the passionate Mumbai Indians fans haven't quite accepted Pandya as the team's skipper. 

Initially, the Baroda cricketer was booed everywhere MI played in the IPL 2024. Although the booing stopped eventually, the Mumbai crowd has found a way to tease him with Rohit Sharma chants in MI's home games. 

A similar incident took place during MI's ongoing IPL 2024 clash against Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Wankhede Stadium. 

It didn't take the Mumbai people too long to chant for Rohit as they began it in the very first over.

After starting the first over with a wide, MI speedster Nuwan Thushara bowled an in-swinger, which brushed Abhishek Sharma's pad before Ishan Kishan collected it behind the stumps. 

However, as Abhishek was unconvinced with the on-field call, he went upstairs. Meanwhile, when the third umpire was making his decision, the Mumbai crowd started chanting 'Mumbai cha Raja kaun, Rohit Sharma, Rohit Sharma'. 

The cameraman wisely zoomed in on Pandya's face as the batter looked slightly uncomfortable with the chants. 

Talking about the game, SRH have got an ideal start, thanks to a steady stand between Abhishek and Head. As of writing, the visitors were 28 for no loss in three overs.
