Riding on a clinical all-round performance, Afghanistan are on the verge of recording a massive win over Uganda in the fifth game of the ongoing T20 World Cup in Guyana. After Fazalhaq Farooqi scalped two wickets in the first over to run through Uganda's top order, Naveen-ul-Haq got two breakthroughs in his opening over to sink the African nation further.

The incident occurred during the fifth over of Uganda's innings when they were already rocked by Farooqi's onslaught. Bowling his first over of the day, Naveen conceded a single on his first ball before getting rid of Dinesh Nakrani.

Coming from around the wicket, Naveen bowled a good length ball as Nakrani inside-edged it straight to the stumps. The next ball was a dot before Naveen dismissed Alpesh Ramjani with a beauty.

It was a full-length ball from Naveen, with Ramjani edging it behind the stumps while attempting for a drive. The ball flew straight to Gulbadin Naib, who grabbed a sharp catch in the slips.

Meanwhile, Uganda were tottering at 23 for five in seven overs in a mammoth 184-run chase. As of writing, Riazat Ali Shah was batting in the middle alongside dependable batter Robinson Obuya.
