The cricketer himself belted eight sixes and 12 boundaries during his 55-ball stay at the crease, and pumped out over 100 runs in the final six overs of the innings alongside fellow batting barbarian Tim David.

Earlier in the match, in-form opener David Warner was dismissed for just 22 while stand-in captain Mitchell March made his way back to the sheds with a 12-ball 29 to his name. Josh Inglis and Marcus Stoinis failed to get going in the high-scoring innings before Tim David produced 31 unbeaten runs from just 14 balls in the slog overs.
