Gautam Gambhir often shows aggression off the field, as he was the 'bad boy' during his playing days. No wonder adrenaline ran high through his veins when Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) took on Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Tuesday in Qualifier 1 of IPL 2024 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

During KKR's dominating phrase against SRH in the first half, a clip went viral when Gambhir, the KKR mentor, sat beside assistant coach Abhishek Nayar at the dugout. Right after one of the wickets, Gambhir showed raw emotion while celebrating with Nayar, and no wonder, people became nostalgic to see him in a fiery mood.

At the time of writing this, KKR are 90/2 after 8.3 overs, with Venkatesh Iyer and Shreyas Iyer in the middle. They are chasing a below-par 160-run target, which means they only require 70 more runs off 69 deliveries to see themselves into the final.

Meanwhile, if SRH lose this one, they will wait for the winner of Eliminator, where Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) a day later.
