Pakistan struggled during the powerplay in their inaugural match of the T20 World Cup 2024 after the USA won the toss and opted to bowl first at the Grand Prairie Stadium, Texas.

Ali Khan’s breakthrough left Pakistan at 66 for 3 after 10 overs, reeling from the early blows. Fakhar’s dismissal epitomized Pakistan's struggles in the powerplay, as they found themselves three down early in the innings.

The pressure mounted on Pakistan as they tried to stabilize their innings after the early setbacks.
