Mumbai's scorching heat during India's World Cup 2023 semi-final against New Zealand made headlines on Wednesday (November 15). 

Earlier in the innings, Shubman Gill had to retire hurt from the game, and even Virat Kohli, considered one of the fittest players in cricket, faced the heat on his way to scoring his 50th ODI century.

Therefore, while having a break in the middle, Kohli went straight to Will Young, who brought a few drinks as a 12th man for New Zealand.

In fact, when Kohli having a drink, Mitchell Santner was having a light chat with him, possibly because he was also asking how he managed to bat so long under these conditions.

Kohli replied cheekily, but unfortunately, it did not go on air.
