Ellyse Perry is one of finest women cricketers in the world and has been in great form lately. She scored plenty of runs in Women's Big Bash League 2024 while in the second ODI against India, she smacked a century and also became the first women cricketer to score 7000 international runs and picked 300 wickets.
The superstar was expected to show her class in the final ODI as well, but Arundhati Reddy with her immaculate lines and lengths, got the better of Perry. It was the second ball of the 15th over, and Reddy bowled it on a good-length around off. Perry tried to work the ball away, but played through the wrong line and the ball beat the outside edge of her blade to knock over the off-stump.
Arundhati Reddy Demolishes Australia's Batting Line-Up
The wicket of Perry was the third Australia wicket to go in the 15th over and in the next over Arundhati Reddy also removed Beth Mooney. Australia were reduced to 78-4 and all four wickets were taken by the right-arm seamer Arundhati Reddy.
This is the third and final ODI of the series, and Aussies have already won the series by winning the initial two games comprehensively. India now have started the third game on a bright note and would be looking to clinch the final match and bring some smiles back in the dressing room.
