Lucknow Super Giants' Devdutt Padikkal faced yet another disappointment in the ongoing IPL 2024 season as his struggles persisted in the match against Delhi Capitals at Ekana Stadium.
Padikkal, who has been out of form throughout the tournament, added to his woes by scoring only 3 runs before departing early in the 26th match.
LSG, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, had a promising start until Padikkal fell victim to Khaleel Ahmed's bowling prowess in the fifth over. Ahmed's delivery, swinging back in and catching Padikkal off-guard, resulted in a clear LBW dismissal.
Despite a brief consideration, Padikkal decided against taking the DRS, leaving him to trudge back to the pavilion.
