The London Spirit Women and the Oval Invincibles Women are locking horns against each other at the Kennington Oval in London in the 26th match of The Hundred 2024. The game saw a stunning knock from Deepti Sharma as she dug deep and took her team to a respectable total in the game. 

The Spirit were put to bat by the Oval Invincibles after they won the toss. The Heather Knight-led team were in a disastrous situation as they lose quick early wickets. Deepti Sharma walked to bat when the team's score was 33/4 and was fighting from one end. However, wickets kept falling from one end and the Spirit soon found themselves reeling at 47/7 in 58 balls.

At this stage, Eva Gray joined Deepti in the middle, and the duo put in a fighting patrnership to propel the Spirit's score to a fighting one. The duo had a partnership of 56 runs off 34 balls, which took the team's total to 120/8 at the end of their 100 balls. 

Deepti Sharma remained unbeaten at 46 off 30 at the end of the innings. During her stay in the middle Deepti hit a massive six that brought flashes of Rohit Sharma. On the last ball of the 17th set, Mady Villiers tossed up a delivery at the off and middle. Sharma spotted it early and went down the track to loft the ball over long-on for a maximum. The shot went the distance fuelled by Deepti's brilliant timing.
